E & A Invites

Erin contacted me many moons ago and asked me to design her flowers and invites. Of course at the time I was delighted to do so. But then I got pregnant (yeah for me, boo for her) so I was no longer able to help with the flower part since her wedding date was 2 days away from my due date!! I felt terrible about this but Erin was so understanding and incredibly supportive. I was still able to help out with her invites! So here are a few mock ups I did for her:

Invite A

Invite B

Invite C

Invite D

Invite E

Invite F

Any guesses on which ones she picked? Which ones are your favorites?
I'll share her first pick with you in the next post along with the invitation suite we created for her which includes: Invite, RSVP, Directions, Accommodations and a monogram!

M & R Part II

I mentioned before that I helped Monya and Russ with their Invites. They wanted something that incorporated fall leaves in shades of brown. We played with a few different ideas and this is the final product!

M & R

Monya had contacted me when she first began planning her wedding 1.5 years ago. I was able to design her invitations along with her floral decor. Monya and Russ live in Southern California so we did most of our communication over email. About 8 or 9 month into the engagement they planned a trip to San Francisco and I was very excited to finally meet them both! I felt like I knew them like old friends.

Ceremony Location: Crissy Field
Ceremony Coordinator: Lisa from Bellissima Vita Weddings
Reception: San Francisco City Club
Photographer: Augie Chang
Colors: Shades of brown with orange accents

All photos were taken by Augie Chang

Monya's mom also wrote a very nice letter to me after the wedding.

Dear Karen,
To say that ALL our flowers were drop dead gorgeous would be an understatement. When I first saw the bridal party flowers I looked at Monya and said "WOW.. are these not amazingly beautiful"... of course she agreed. When I delivered the flowers to the guys along with Zoey's pomander & Marta's corsage, Garrett, their Officiant/Best Man told me he'd never seen such pretty flowers, especially Zoey's..that's huge coming from him since he's the "wedding whisperer" :)

I can't begin to tell you what it was like walking into City Club and seeing the centerpieces.. my jaw literally dropped, I was totally blown away, as was Russ (MY Russ!)... 110% elegance with simplicity! I can't tell you how many guests commented on the arrangements, let alone Alison (the City Club director of banquet planning). I was even called yesterday by a friend of a guest asking for your phone number for their daughter's wedding in Fall of 2009 and they haven't even sen pics yet! :)

Again thank you so much for making Monya and Russ's day EXTRA beautiful!

Fondly,
Claudia
